At the end of our trip, our driver, Mario was full of interesting facts about the native plants in the area. We even received a test on the various aromas the plants exude and received an "organic" tattoo! Unfortunately, we had one family member (in another raft) go overboard in the rapids. The guide Samuel quickly responded. All of us were aware of the risks we were taking before the tour began so you have to take the good with the bad and be prepared for an emergency!
